Giving Tuesday Fundraiser to Build GPM Church in South Africa

GPM is using Giving Tuesday 2022 to raise $17,000 to build a church building for the Glory Power Center (GPC) in the village of Phaweni, South Africa. The church has been meeting in the tin shack pictured. A recent service is pictured below. God has been doing many miracles at the church even just recently, as you can read further below.

GPM wants to build a building similar to the GPC in the village of Block D, which can seat 200. See pictures below of the outside and inside.

The GPC Phaweni, pastored by Matimba Nobela (pictured with white shirt at service and Pastor Patrick’s of GPC Magona’s half brother) has seen many miracles over the years. Some testimonies of recent MIRACLES:

Violet, a member of the church, recently saw her husband, Thomas, seriously sick to the point where he could not talk or walk, and for almost three days he could not eat. All of the family gathered and decided to take him to the hospital. Violet said to the family, “Let me call my pastor first before we take him to the hospital.” When Pastor Matimba arrived, Violet and the family were crying bitterly. Matimba preached the gospel to the family and then prayed for Thomas, who was sleeping. He immediately woke up and started talking, asking to give him food. Glory to Jesus! Thomas has been well since.

Another church member, Mrs. Hobyani, was bleeding abnormally since she had her last child. After she was prayed for at the church, the bleeding stopped and “she is free.”

Mrs. Shivambu’s son, Marvin, was seriously sick while living in Pretoria where he worked. He was in the hospital for almost a month, where Marvin needed a ventilator to breathe. Marvin was not able to speak properly and unable to walk. After prayer at the church, Marvin is all well and back to work!

There are many more testimonies of God’s goodness. The GPC Phaweni has impacted the community for God for years. Pastor Matimba on how the church building will help, “The church building will help the community to be transformed. There are a lot of people who are rejected, when they see the church they will feel comforted, knowing that they have a home.

“The church will help the orphans, the poor and the widows. When the community sees the building, they will rejoice, many people will come in numbers when they see the miracle of a building! Church is a home – many people, they will know that there is a place of liberty. When they have problems they will go to the place of WORSHIP like Hannah (in the Bible).”

People worshipping and loving on the Lord at the GPM Phaweni church.

Would you help these precious people (who love the Lord) by donating to build this church building which will help transform many lives for eternity? Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated. We, and the people of Phaweni, thank you in advance! God bless you.
